Family History in Mobile:

As a little girl, this was my favorite home close to my grandmother's downtown. My great-great grandfather built a home for her. Recently, I began a look into the my Father's and Grandmother's family history of the Baptise.  I'm not sure what I'll found but this story touched my heart.

SUMMER TIME:

This is a photograph of my sons and I playing on the Bay.  It really is the best summer together making lifelong memories!

When reflections of Dad surface, I realize even deeper that time continues on when you grieve. As summer comes to an end and the boys begin school, my focus is on the photography business.
SON:
I can hardly remember the days
Before you were my sunshine.
I feel like I have always loved you,
Like you have always been mine.

Now my days are brighter from
Your smiles and moments at play.
You are my life's shining star...
The "SON" that brightens my day.

Senior Spotlight: Rachel Cumbest

When I began my business, in 1996, the main focus of my photography was weddings, families and children. Over the years, our  business has grown with our children to include high school SENIORS. I'm so honored to photograph the milestones in life; from the 5 year old wall portrait to the moment of high school graduation. I'll continue to update my blog with stories from my heart along with SENIOR SPOTLIGHTS. In the meantime, come check out my home page of current SENIORS:

Mentors in Life:

As I photographed my photography mentor's son wedding of Adam and Haley Scardamalia, I remembered when Richard the dreams he had for his family and opening a studio in Fairhope... " Once Upon A Time....several years ago, God began a work in me to become a photographer. Under the instruction of Richard Scardamalia, I decided to give this art my best. As a result, my work received many awards at local, state, national to international competitions. Within the vision of these accomplishments is a path leading me in becoming a Master of Photography. While painting with light in portraits, the ultimate purpose is to touch souls around the world with the light of Jesus." 1996

Hello From Heaven

On the morning that Dad passed away,  I looked out the window and saw buds on a tree about to bloom. As the light danced upon the flowers, I felt God's presence.

The Day After Dad's Funeral:

My Dad, Russell McNamara, was born on February 3, 1940 and passed away on February 11, 2010. His family and friends called him, Buddy, which was true to his heart of being a friend. He had the gift of encouragement. His grandsons and my sons loved Paw Paw. We had plans that will not unfold into reality. In that knowledge comes a pain that lingers. My hope is in seeing his smiling face again in Heaven.
